Lives and works in Saint-Ouen
MA Fine Art at Chelsea University of the Arts London (2013/2014)
Caroline Derveaux is a painter and muralist whose work explores the unconscious, memories, introspective journeys and channels of perception.
Known for her dual practice of painting on canvas and her work as a muralist in monumental formats in public spaces, she creates works, sometimes more than ten meters high, which enter into dialogue with their environment and which innocently pose a translation of her emotions and visions, through a language of bright and geometric colors. On closer inspection, however, her works are landscapes and portraits, mixing architectural and organic forms that open up three-dimensional universes and invitations to travel, escapes in search of memories, beauty and harmony.
Having lived all over the world, notably in London, Barcelona, Nanjing and Mexico City, she is now based in Saint-Ouen in France.
